“A Summer Camp to Remember”

The PAL SUMMER CAMP was one to put on the record books! Over 165 five to fifteen year olds attended the action-packed eight week program. They were all kept quite busy with a variety of activities, including many field trips to various exciting destinations: Starkey Ranch (a working cattle ranch), Xtreme Laser Tag, bowling, ice skating and Nature's Classroom. The children also learned some very important life lessons about personal safety protection from educational/awareness classes such as “Stranger Danger", "911 Safety" and "Internet Safety".

Through a team effort of the PAL Administrative Staff, City of Tampa Police Department, City of Tampa Parks and Recreation personnel and volunteers ... all went above and beyond to give their absolute best to the PAL Summer Camp Kids, making this program “successful, safe and unique” to any other summer camp in the area.
